switching off autocomplete reminder

How do I switch off the reminder question asking me if I want to turn on
autocomplete ?

I switched it off and want it off but it now asks me regularly if i want to
turn the damn thing on!

Isn't there a 'don't ask me again' checkbox?

No.

But I managed to sort it by a adding a registery FromSuggest value.
It seems to be a known problem that it insists on you using it.
