Hi,
Please help. I get asked constantly to send back Microsoft
Error Reports. I need to work on my website offline. I use
Windows 98 and am now on IE version 6. In the past there
have been no problems. Now I get the box requesting 'work
offline' which I click. However I can't change the HTML
code easily using Notepad. The mouse start working in a
jerky fashion, the page freezes up and sometimes crashes,
returning to show the Directory listing of files and then
a request to send an Error Report online back to
Microsoft. I prefer to work offline to avoid viruses
infecting the website. What can I do? Thanks, David

We need more information to be able to help you. Click on the details button
(or details link) when your system crshes and provide:

xxx caused an xxx in xxx at xxx:xxxx

or if you are using a later operating system, provide information about the
files (modules) involved in the crash.

If you are using the Error Reporting Tool, disable it so you can access the
error message in a more understandable form. Informationon how to disable
the Error Reporting Tool is here:
