can anyone help me with a problem i have with my pc? my
explorer keeps crashing, and every time it comes up with
this error msg.
EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
module MSVCRT.DLL at 015f:780154a7.

Is it possible for someone to fix this for me, or at least
stop me from putting a brick through my pc? i seem to be
getting very frustrated... i've tried a few things,
including running setup from the win 98 disc with no
success... HELP!!! (please!)

Hi,

Check for somethings:

1: Does it happens in safe mode?
2: What happens when nothing is checked in msconfig?
3: Did you install/uninstall anything prior to that?
4: Do you have any spywares?(Can check and remove using adaware/spybot)

now make a startup disk, get to know the path of msvcrt.dll, rename the
msvcrt.dll file, run ext, and extract the file

Is this happening using IE also? If not the first thing
that you should do is make sure that you install all the
critical updates from Microsoft's page. Then, when was
the last time you defraged your computer? What about Scan
disk?
