View Full Version : I will be away from 15-22 February 2005

Dan
February 14th 05, 11:12 PM
I am going to New York to help baby-sit my two nieces and wanted to inform
this newsgroup that I will be away and everyone will get a much needed break
from me. <smile> I am sure all the MVP's, Hugh, PCR, et. all will be able
to help users with their problems. My sister and brother-in-law who is
Canadian are going to a wedding in Canada. Everyone take care and thanks
again for all of your help. I will still post some more today and maybe even
early tommorrow but then I will be gone on a much needed break from work too.
I also plan to see my best friend Brian in New York City and we will have a
great time. Take Care and Good Luck in solving all of the computing problems
that are out there. <grin>

<GASP!> You're not taking your computer *with* you??? You won't have a
computer when you're there?!?!? How will you ever survive?!?!?!?!?

I will be living in the days before computers were commonplace, I guess.
However, I will still have my Verizon Wireless LG 4400 cell phone. BTW, Gary
my computer is a desktop. I have yet to purchase a laptop or a notebook
computer but I do have a Palm M130 PDA. LOL!!

Bill do you mean that he lives in Harlem or is Hell's Kitchen someplace else.
My memory is kinda hazy after being out of the city for over a decade.

Shush!

Not sure why Dan goes on so about needing a Laptop or Notebook machine
just to go on the road. If *I* were going to be gone for that long, I'd
take the whole pile with me--especially if my task is to baby-sit!

You STILL haven't sat on those nieces? (I thought you first mentioned it
quite a while ago.) Yes, me my hidey-hole is somewhere in the Apple, as
Glee put it, BUT it is not in the borough that holds Hell's Kitchen.
Colorado is dead wrong!

Careful, I think Sandi is waiting for you to get back before turning on
the flame thrower, which is almost as hot as that!

Thanks or Good Luck,
There may be humor in this post, and,
Naturally, you will not sue,
should things get worse after this,
