View Full Version : Illegal operation Kernel32.dll

When I try to access an upgrade of AOL, I get the
following message:

"WAOL caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL
at 015f:bff7a128". Illegal operation will be shut down.

AOL says it is a problem with my Microsoft
program...Microsoft wants to charge for fixing and I can
not afford it.

Appreciate any help that anyone can give me.

Thank you for your assistance.

WAOL is AOL software, but the memory address points to video driver
involvement. Update your video drivers and reduce hardware acceleration at
control panel, display, settings, advanced, performance.

May I assume you have already tried to find a fix via AOL technical support?

Mkoenig,

'[s]omething to do with kernel32.dll' is not very specific, so you're going
to have to do some reading.
