any help? when i try to open or save temporary internet
files i get a msg:
Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.
You may not have the appropriate permissions.

Any one know what this means?and how to fix?

If you get the following message:

desktop message: windows cannot access the specified
device, path, or file. you may not have the apporopriate
permissions to access the item.

Try this:
The run32.dll could be corrupt.
Replace the file run32.dll in the folder c:\windows\system32 with a fresh
file Downloaded
from http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?run32

or try this:

Why not try the System Restore? To do so:

1. From Start, click Programs, click Accessories, and under System Tools
open the System Restore.
2. Select Restore my computer to an earlier time and click the Next button.
3. Select a restore point before the problem happened and click the Next
button to execute the System Restore.

If it still doesn't work, find a startup disk and run

scanreg /restore

to revert to a previous registry.

Run32.dll is not a standard Windows file.

You probably simply have a corrupt cache; please create a new one as per the
instructions at the URL below:
