I cannot start ME and cannot access my start up CD and do not have a floppy
version. I'm trying to get into command prompt from start up and running
into some difficulty. I have a registry error I'm trying to fix. Any
suggestions?

Thanks Heirloom. Did the boot disk and received a "NTLDR is missing" prompt.
Microsoft says I need a bcupdate2 utility. I can't seem to find this.

You mean, when you put your 'new' floppy boot disk into the A: drive and
booted, you got that report?

If so, re-read the bootdisk.com instructions. You need put a blank floppy
into your A: drive and RUN the downloaded file from your hard drive and to
CREATE your floppy boot disk.

Slight typo (the delete the final 'and') - should read :-
