Just a short note to say a big "THANK YOU " to all the MVP'S and anyone else
who help out in these Forums for their sound advice and patience.
Looking through the Forums as I often do each day you always come up with
some cure for a problem, and I have found lots.
The best one of the lot was today when I finally took the plunge after long
deliberation and reading posts in these Forums, Dumped "Norton Internet
Security & Anti Virus"
and installed "AVG".....Wow what a change,I never thought Norton took up so
much resourses.
My System is just cruising along, everything opens and closes much, much
faster,so goodbye,and good riddence.

Once again,thank you all,

Seamey.T

Hang around, Seamey, lots of good stuff to be had in these NG's. And I must
agree, the MS-MVP's are the best......I know they have saved my 'bacon' more
than once.
Heirloom, old and have a few strips left over

I suspect Noel and Mike M will be grinning after seeing that you followed
their previous good advice.
I also think you did the "right" thing, although I suspect you could have
chosen a better AV tool.
