My system is missing some Windows 98SE files. I cannot
locate my original Operating System CD. Is there any way
to download the files that I need individually? Either
the individual DLL or CABS would be acceptable.

Please reply to the email address shown.

Thank you

E-mail support not available - sorry. It is not good practice to include
your e-mail address in a newsgroup post as it will be harvested by spammers
and viruses.

Have you checked that the CAB files are not stored somewhere on your hard
drive?

Windows 98SE installation CDs are often available on e-bay or through the
on-line computer software stores. MS has never made Windows available for
download, however many DLL files are available if you search the www.
However, you run a risk of getting mismatched or incorrect versions of these
files if you download them individually. A proper installation CD is the
best option.
