Hi All,

Weird thing. Just upgraded from Win 95 to Win 98SE (part
of a disaster recovery for replaced HDD). When Windows
starts up, the Win 95 screen shows.

But, looking at My Computer properties - General - It
shows the Win 98 SE version number - 4.10.2222A. Also
other windows like when adding or updating drivers say Win
98 at the top. Just the entry screen has Win 95.

Any idea how to fix this, just bothersome I guess. Maybe a
file replacement for the initial splash screen?

Thanks!

Just delete it.
The file is C:\Logo.sys
You should then see the Win98 logo screen.
