98 install

I'm trying to go from win2000 to 98,for gaming
reasons.When put in the 98 disk and click on anything it
says please insert cd.Can I just uninstall 2k,if so how?

If your C: drive is formatted to FAT32 you can just reformat it to
remove win2000, but if you used NTFS then you will have to use fdisk
to
delete all current partitions on C: and then create FAT32 partitions.

Either way once you are ready to begin win98 setup you can use a
bootdiskette, or set 1st bootable device to CD in BIOS setup, providing
your win98 CD is bootable. To enter BIOS setup press the DEL key - could
also be F1, look for clues as your PC starts.
