As the others have said, the files should copy across the network
without regard to how the drives are partitioned. (I've done DOS
[FAT16] to NTFS.) The problem may be with your backup software not
understanding long file names. Try using double quotes around the
complete filename: XCOPY /s/h "c:\*.*".
