Chimes...

I have a laptop that, on the hour (every hour!), chimes - @12 it chimes 12
times, @8 it chimes 8 times. Plus the half hour gets a chime as well, just to
the sake of it.

I've checked that there isn't any other software installed that would do
this but I can't see ANYTHING.

Does anyone have any ideas please? I know it's a bit of a stab in the
dark.....!

Ctrl-Alt Delete and see what's running?

Start, Run, msconfig, Start Up tab and see what loads at start up?

Disable your soundcard in the devicemanager, and see which program is going
to complain.
