I am trying to load Win98SE into a new and clean primary
partition on my hard drive 1 (the HD was partitioned using
Partition Magic8 - first and second partitions contain
WinME and Win2000P respectively and either OS boots up and
runs OK using Boot Magic).
I have been attempting the install using a ME Start-up
floppy as I do not have a Win98SE Start-up Floppy (have
not been able to find the fat32ebd file on the 98SE CD).
Am getting a msg from the floppy relating to a disk cache
utility and from the CD telling me that I am attempting to
upgrade an existing Win installation.
Where am I going wrong, or am I attempting the impossible?

Disable PQ Magic. Create a 3rd primary partition on the HD for 98SE, set
the partition active. Format the partition if you did not use PM8 to create
the partition. Appropriate boot disk image is available at bootdisk.com
