Please offer advice about Microsoft Virtual Drivers -- netbeui.vxd and
wsipx.vxd. These files are installed on my computer. I am using Windows 98SE.
It seems as if somebody in the building is using NetBIOS to try to hack my
computer system. Fortunately, I have EZ Amor Security Suite. The program
notified me that it had prevented access from an IP address using NetBIOS so
basically all I had to do was to check "YES" to permanently deny access.
However, these 2 virtual drivers remain on the c:/drive. I found them in a
hard drive search and in the registry keys. Is it ok to leave them alone or
should I delete the .vxd files to prevent future hacker intrustions. Thanks.
