Using the system restoration disk (CD). I can make it almost all the way
through the process without trouble; then, near the end, there is a point
where I'm told to remove the CD, and then a few moments later to put it back
in. At that point, however, I get a message saying it can't find or
recognize the CD. When I F10 out of there, I get a message saying "Win.com
not found" and so the installation failed. There's a Microsoft support page
on a similar issue, which gives directions on extracting Win.cnf and
changing its name to Win.com, but frankly I'm not computer literate enough
to follow these complex directions. Any ideas or suggestions?
