View Full Version : LiveUpdate dilemma

I still have Norton AntiVirus 2000 and use LiveUpdate religiously. I
haven't had a problem in 5 years. Starting two weeks ago new definitions
download but will not install. I try over and over again. I have been
going into Symantec and using Intelligent Updater to keep me covered but I
don't know why this started. I did what the Symantec website info
recommended and deleted and reinstalled Norton but this continues.
Yes, I know I could buy 2005 but I would hate to do that and still have this
happening in addition to having no funds.
Basically, can't understand why and how to remedy what I already have. I
have Windows 98SE and just use my computer for e-mails and a little web
surfing and 2000 was working fine for me.

Suggestions?

Run LiveUpdate manually to make certain you have all program updates
installed. Otherwise, upgrade to NAV 2005 (it'll prolly be cheaper than
re-subscribing NAV 2000) or uninstall NAV and get another AV app.
