I have been trying to access www.lexmark.com. For some reason it won't come
up.

What could be the reason I can't get to it? I don't have problems with any
other sites.

Thanks,
Debbie

It may be related to the adware/spyware mentioned by Glen or the other =
issues you mention in your second post. If however after cleaning up as =
Glen suggested, you still have problems with the site and you have a =
firewall installed, have a good look in the FW settings to see if for =
some reason the site is blocked. I had no problem with the link =
provided.

I did what Glen suggested ... but I didn't see anything in Glen's response
about adware/spyware.

Where are the firewall settings in Win 98 SE?

See Glen's response in this thread.

There are none if you have not installed one. First let's get the =
machine clean of parasites, then we will get into the various apps =
(free) to help keep it clean. First in order when you are clean will be =
an Anti-virus app if you do not have one installed.
