hey all,

i used fdisk on my laptop and i created a primary partition and an extended
dos partition. but when i went to delete it to readjust the sizes the label
shows non-English characters for the label for what ever reason.

i looked up the characters in the ascii table and tried to type it in
(numlock, alt+n) but some of the characters are not matching up?

am i up #34#$# creek?

thanks,
rodchar

Assuming that there isn't a problem with the partition, you can change the
label from within Windows or from DOS (with the LABEL command). Just
change it to something sensible.
