computer hangs

Hi - recently it's been hanging when I exit IE. I have to hit the power to
escape. Any suggestions why? (98SE) Thanks.

scandisk , defrag , do a "repair" on IE ...then let us know if it is
still happening (with more details of system)

Followed your advice - the problem persists - but only on this site: When I
exit and return to Start to bring up the Favorites list, the Start button
freezes. I'm running Norton, ZoneAlarm, AdAware and Spybot. What other info
do you need?

uninstall and reinstall zonealarm ...

(I assume you have updated and run your antivirus(full scan))
