Is the Windows 98 Update CD still available for free from Microsoft? On the
Web page where you can download the update, there is a note that one can
get a CD if you have problems downloading over a phone line. I tried calling
the number (800-361-7561) indicated on that page but it has been
disconnected.

What do you mean by a "Win98 Update CD"?
Can you supply the url of the web page you are talking about?

Microsoft no longer provides CDs. But the tech guy said I need to find a web
site to download the patches as a regular file that doesn't directly update
Windows and then burn a CD. He didn't give me a site and said to do some
research. Does anyone know the URL while I try to find it myself?
