upgrading to windows 98 from windows 95 need help

Hi, I'm helping out a friend of mine and he needs to upgrade to windows 98. I downloaded a copy of windows 98 se and burned it to a cd-rom. Not having done this before, I am nervous about messing up his computer. What do I need to do?

You need to buy a copy.
You cannot download a legal copy.
Try ebay or a large computer store.
