I have bought a memory stick (Sandisk Cruzer Mini 256 MB),
but it does not work on my computer with Windows 98. I
want to set it up, but lost the disk of Windows 98. Is
there any possibility that I can find the software online
somewhere and where than? I feel stupid now I have bought
an expensive piece and am not even able to use it.

Love, Femke

W98 will not have a driver for the memory stick--they did not exist when W98
was written. Contact the maker of the memory stick.

That driver is for Windows 98SE - there is nothing listed for Windows 98.

Win 98 does not support USB that is why there is no driver listed for win98

I am afraid your information is wrong. W95B supported USB.

Surely basic USB support came as early as Win95 (OSR2) ... albeit not
perfectly implemented?

Windows 98 supports USB, however the device driver software model changed
between Windows 98 and Windows 98SE, with the result that many manufacturers
have chosen not to provide driver support for Windows 98. It is quite
common to find devices, including USB devices, that have drivers for Windows
98SE and no drivers for Windows 98.
