Hi:

I need to install a USB memory key and have WIN98. I have
loaded the drivers that come with the memory key and it's
still not working. I also downloaded a "fix" from MS
website but is still not recognizing the device. What
would you recomend me to do?

Thank you

JUAN

Win98 supports only USB version 1.
Does your key require USB v.2?

Contact the maker of the memory key. Is it possible you have W98 and the
key requires W98 SE?

That is no longer true. Many USB 2 boards now have Windows 98 drivers
(in some cases, 98SE only, in other cases both 98 & 98SE).

The OP will need a pen drive that has a driver for Windows 98 (or 98SE).
Many such USB Flash drives do exist, but not all such drives have a
98/98SE driver.

All of them will work with USB 1, although those that support USB 2 will
work faster if it's available.
