View Full Version : Strange punctuation in emails

Hi!

Bill Starbuck and Brian A. got me straightened out on "manual line
endings." But there's another punctuation I don't recognize also. It looks
like a degree sign -- a little circle up in the area of a superscript. The
way it's used would suggest that it's a type of "space" or related to a
"tab." What is it, how can I search and replace it, and how could I create
it if I were so disposed?

Try pressing and holding the Alt key while typing 0176 on the numeric
keypad. You can use Character Map in the system tools to identify strange
characters, but make sure you select the corresponding font.

As mentioned before by I believe Gary, you can get more precise answers =
in an Office or Word newsgroup.
