I've been trying to install an old printer onto one of my
Windows 98 PCs. I know I should first install the local
printer and plan to use the driver provided with Windows
98.

What are the steps required to install the print driver
and print a test page?

I assume I'll have to answer a series of questions in the
wizard. What answers would I give?

Double-click the Printers icon in My Computer then double-click the Add
Printer wizard. Answer the questions according to how the printer is
connected and what make/model it is.

Why are you referring to a local printer?
