I have tried to correct this error following the Microsoft
instructions. Please help. School starts tommorrow and I
need to be able to print off the Internet!

I have the same problem and KB836929 is no help.
The "Windows update Setup files folder" is no where to be
seen when you go to the ie6 site they refer you to. Best
thing to do is download Netscape.

I can not print from e-mail or internet I get an error message that reads
as folows:

Line: 228
Char: 1
Error: incompatible version of the RPC stub.
Code: 0
URL: res//c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SHDOCLC.DLL/perview.dlg

I have tried everything and still can not fix.
