When I login to microsoft support I keep getting Script
errors. WHat are script errors and what do I need to do to
ge trid of them?

You probably need either to rid your PC of spyware, or to install an updated
script engine -

I just did a check with SpyBot last night and it was clean.
I will try the Stinger also.

Noel,
I installed the new script engine. Didn't work. Went to
McAfee, that website isn't good anymore, the one with
Stinger. Didn't have time to update my virus scan, will do
this weekend.
I am also having problems with SYSRESTORE. Hav ea post on
that also under system tools. Did what as suggested ther,
and it doesn't work. For some reason, it seems like my PC
doesn't want to work updates. Is this an ME thing?

Marilyn - it really does sound as if you have some serious problems on your
PC - I have never been unable to access the Stinger link unless there are
interfering programs running.

Are you using a Firewall? - if so, then disable it and get the Stinger (and
nothing else), then reboot to Safe Mode, and run it, and see if it detects
anything.
If you're not running a firewall, then I suggest that you contact a
specialist group for advice......

Stinger/CWShredder didn't find anything!!! Yay! It did say
I should download a patch for Java VM, which might cause
problems
My system restore is working. I got my SIms2 to work it's
been a good day!
I am going to download the new script engine again and see
what happens
