Windows Me startup prompt

Hi,

Windows Me on my PC always comes up the startup prompt
listing the safe mode, normal mode, etc, instead of
automatically opening in normal mode, how do I resolve
this problem,

Sounds like you may have been troubleshooting with MSCONFIG?
If so, go back into MSCONFIG, and click on the Advanced button - then
uncheck the 'Enable Startup Menu' entry, and click Apply, OK, OK, and reboot
on request
