I have 2 PCs running on 98 se and I have 1 hp 690 printer
can I conect them all together somehow to get both pcs to
use the same printer ?????????
Help if you can!!!

Yes. Two possible solutions.

1. Switch: You can purchase a switch that can select between two
sources. Make sure it is of good quality. Note: Microsoft does _not_
support the use of switches on the parallel ports.

2. Network the two computers and connect the printer to one of them. The
minimum configuration requires two Ethernet cards and a crossover

Yes you can, install NIC's in both PC's and use cross connected cable
between them, or you can connect them through HUB or Switch, then jus
use normal network cable.
