slow operation

Hard drive cpartitioncrashed . new hard drive reinstalled
ME on C partition and all other apps. Data recovered
from D&E partitions . now system slow to boot up and
respond. typical example Spider solitaire very slow in
operation.

Defrag the C: drive first.

Have you been to Windows Update and installed ALL the Critical Updates??
