I was here yesterday with this problem & was told to go to
the control panel, display & change my screen size. This
didn't correct the problem. Then I was told to use the
buttons on the monitor. That didn't do it either. The
problem is that all the letters and words are stretched as
far as the eye can see to the right, to the left, up and
down. It's like the Magnifier is on, but as far as I can
tell, that doesn't even exist on my system. Please help
me, Some windows don't have the scroll down bar on the
right hand side so I can pick up the text I'm missing, in
other words, I'm seeing the entire window but the bottom
portion of the information in that window is cut off by
the sheer size of the window. It's HUGE! Some things I
can get by clicking on the blue band on top of the window
and moving it as far up as I can, but that's not the
solution. Thank you for any help you can give me

Please keep your replies to the original thread so everyone knows what has
already happened.

What happened when you adjusted the screen area size? Did the images get
smaller and did you get access to more parts of the display, or did the
adjustment not change anything at all, or weren't you able to make the
adjustment (and if not, why not)?

What happened when you adjusted the monitor width controls? Did the image
get wider and narrower, or did the controls have no effect? Where you able
to bring portions of the image that had been off the screen back on to the
screen?
