Yeah, I love it........so much better than Notepad, no comparison! Been
using it for years. I had a problem with Notepad, so, I dl'd Edit Pad Lite
and removed Notepad entirely. Works like a champ.

BTW, I have the .dtb files for the new defs in SB........no need to send.
Thanks.
Heirloom, old and must get a shower

Works fine in XP, Joan, except that if simultaneously opening multiple
documents you should choose the SendTo option rather than r-click | Edit.

And as Fruit Of The....... did, it's probably best to just replace Notepad
entirely with it (ie you rename Editpad.exe to Notepad.exe - I believe there
are instructions for this, Notepad.exe being protected).

Thanks Shane don't know whether I will actually download and install as I
never seem to use Notepad anyway.

Oh, good one, Shame! Fruit of the Loon.....gotta remember that! Don't
recall exactly how I did it, but, my shortcut still says Notepad........and
Edit Pad opens.
Whatever works.
Heirloom, old and did it my way

Probably doesn't matter then, Joan. If you don't use Notepad enough to be
annoyed with it.
