Keyboard Win98

Hello,
Since I booted up this AM I am having problems with my keyboard. When I hit
the following keys I get.
Backslash à
Frontslash é
Enclosure Right ç
Enclosure Left ^^
colon è

Go into Control Panel, Keyboard, and click on the Language tab. What you
have looks like French. If that's what you find, and no users of the machine
have set up that language in the past, something's fishy. I assume you have
an antivirus program, and have paid actual money to keep it updated. Do a
full scan of the machine, including ALL files.

Of course, you could also have a bad keyboard. Is there another one you can
swap in to see if it fixes the problem?
