printer properties not available

I'm running Win 98SE. Just yesterday I started having
problems with my printers folder. My printers show up,
but when I right click, and then choose properties, the
properties page doesn't open. Nothing happens! I noticed
this also started happening with my Norton AntiVirus icon
as well. My computer will now not shut down normally. I
need to CTRL-ALT-DEL, and then choose ShutDown. What the
hell is happening???? Any suggestions?

Do you have HP's JetAdmin installed?

Mary:

Yes I do. I have two printers on this computer, an
HP2100TN laser printer, and a panasonic wide carriage dot-
matrix printer. I am going to try a registry restore
today, but if that doesn't work, I'm not sure what
could've happened.
