I Have a registered copy of 98 and when installing hp scanner with latest
drivers I get a request to install disk to find hpscnmgr.dll and it does not
appear to be on the disk. I have tried numerous searches and have been
unsuccessful. This has happened on some other installs as well.
Anybody have any thoughts.

Sometimes if the files Win98 is looking for is already on
the disk (like when you modify Network settings) you can
type C:\Windows\System when Win98 asks for the cd. You
could always lend a Win98 cd from someone, as long as you
have an riginal license to use Windows 98
