I \'m working on win 98 and my system is down. When I try
to start it up it gives me these two errore 1782 Disk
Controller Failure and 3C301 Keyboard error. What does
this mean and how can I get around it to boot mysystem.

Were you working inside the box ?
Around the disk drive cables etc?

The 1782 error sounds like the computer cannot talk to the disk controller.

Very often, a series of errors like this indicates that BIOS settings are
corrupted, and that in turn suggests that the CMOS backup battery on the
motherboard has died.
