just got a new 120 gigs... i downloaded the 263044USA8.EXE
file and ran it... it said it has been loaded successfully
but still show 23gigs

WINDOWS 98
windows xp home\pro
So it would bebetter you be very specific

How old of a machine are you putting the drive in? Does the BIOS see the
full size? Something is not adding up. The fdisk problem (KB 263044) is
supposed to show the size as 120 - 64 = 56 yet you say it shows 23. You
might want to try this program:

BootIt Next Generation is available from: http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/
and it does partitioning, makes a compressed image, does many other
partitioning chores and is a boot manager. It is not quite as easy to use
as Partition Magic but it is half the cost and has more features. Unlike
