I get this error when i try to play or my kids try to play
certain games on websites.I think it has something to do
with directx but i am not sure.If it is directx i dont
believe you can delete and reinstall or repair it.If
anyone has had this error or has any other information on
it that might help me fix the problem i would really
appreciate it.I dont know what i would have done to cause
this error.Thanx in advance for the help.

You have only given the name of a file.
Why not post the error message ?

ok well this is the error message i get.... microsoft
internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close.we are sorry for the inconvenience.
Appname: iexplore.exe
appver: 6.0.2800.1106
modname: dsound.dll
modver: 4.9.0.900
offset: 00021a26
that is the only error messaage i get and i get it when
tryin to play certain games or listen to music videos off
the launch in yahoo.hope you can help
