Is there any way to download the Windows 98 installation
disk?

I have an old laptop and I need to reinstall Windows 98,
but I can't find my disk.

No and there never was a way. You will need to check with the manufacturer although
a long shot for a replacement disk. If you can boot the machine, see if the Windows
setup files (many .cab files) are on the drive, usually found in
c:\windows\options\cabs. If not there use find to see if they are located elsewhere
by typing *.cab in the named box. Being a laptop I don't think purchasing any disk is
a good idea because of the proprietary drivers needed.
