I had instructions but lost them on how to print the
contents of a file. I even printed the entire list of
photos on a CD. You did this from Microsoft Explorer with
the help of COPY and PASTE from "PAINT." I just cannot
get the sequence correctly . Thank you

It sounds like you did a printscreen of the folder and then pasted it into
paint. To do this open the folder and then from the View menu, choose the
way that you want them to show up in your print out - such as the detail
view, list view, etc. Now press the Alt key and the PrtSc (Print Screen)
keys at the same time. Then open Paint and go to Edit, Paste to paste this
picture into Paint. You can now print it out.
If you want more than just a picture, then here are some other options.
You can get third party applications that will do this such as the Directory
Printer from Karen's Power Tools.

or you can use one of these articles. Keep in mind that the list may be
extremely long so you may prefer to create a text list and view the list
rather than printing it.

Hi Peg
There's a program called DDFileCatcher, that lets you copy and paste
(or drag and drop) files from Windows Explorer onto it. It turns them
into text, which can then be put in a Microsoft Word or Notepad
document. It can also be launched from Word or Excel.
It's at www.ddfilecatcher.com
