View Full Version : Icon Font size

I recently purchased an Axim X5 PDA and loaded the sync
software on to my dimensions computer that runs ME. Since
doing this and running the sync, my icons on the desktop
are messed up. The icon is the correct size, but the Font
is very small and unreadable. Also the three gray boxes
in the upper rh corner of every page no longer have a font
to them. No line box or x show. Only a gray box. When I
open outlook, or Internet explorer, the menu option and
the subject to the emails is all in the very small font
size. Other programs are not affected.

Anyone ever heard of this?

Sure would appreciate some help.

Although generally applicable to the Max/min/restore symbols, caused by a
missing/corrupted font, this solution *might* work for you:-

Try:- "Description of and Troubleshooting the Marlett TrueType Font"
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];134861

If the first part of the article doesn't fix it, note and try the section
near the bottom page, referring to the maximum number of fonts and the
suggestion of deleting the ttfcache file.

Not sure if this will fix the font size issue though.

HTH and good luck
