On startup, I am not getting anything on the monitor. After 2-3 restarts it
remained the same. I have changed the VGA but still no use. Any ideas?

What happens if you boot using your Windows Startup (floppy) Disk?
Do you get any screen activity at all? - does the monitor's power LED
light-up or change colour from amber to green?
What happens if you disconnect the signal cable from the PC - any screen
activity?
