please help me out,
i re - installed my windows 98.i installed all the
drivers and everything but after that i can't play any
movie files,i mean the sound doesn't come and i get an
error message saying ""Cannot play back the audio stream:
no audio hardware is available. (Error=00040258)"".But all
the other windows sounds are coming,i.e. starting windows
sound etc.also winamp works perfectly.only for movie files
of any type, the sound doesn't come. help me out.
