Installing printers

I have purchased three different printers this month - Cannon, HP and now Epson - they all came with a disc but when it starts to install I keep getting a response Dnsrv or Fatal Error. How can I fix this - they are tired of me bring back printers every week.

What type/model of printers? USB or Parallel? What is your OS? Are the printers
compatible with your OS? What are the exact error messages you get? I find mention at
the HP site for the Dnsrv error during install on Windows Server 2003.
