You would be better off with WMP 7.1 than WMP9 even if you could use it in
W98. It's a big resource hog anyway. You'd also do well to install Irfanview
ver 3.91 and the associated Plug-ins, as it is more versatile, and less
greedy when it comes to resources as well. It is a picture viewer, Icon
viewer, editor (light editing duties), Mp3 player, Ra and rm player, asf,
and so forth. It plays various videos as well. See here:

wide retailer, and never received a Win.98SE CD.

Have you tried using the winFE cd?

wERE YOU SUPPOSED TO?

I don't know about such things, but if you were, you should complain
to the nationwide retailer. Be polite though. In your post, I would
say you were neither rude nor polite. You didn't use any foul words
or insult anyone, but there were no gestures toward politeness either.
If you write to a store like this, I would consider the absence of
polite expressions to make your request rude.

I've been away for a while, but things haven't changed much around here.

Can you explain what this post which you've submitted 11 days after the
original post from a different person has to do with the original topic? Why
not start your own topic and post your non-related question there, rather
than belatedly hijacking a thread with non-pertinent questions? :-\\
